Description
The Aviator Large Metal is the teardrop Ray-Ban drew in 1937 for pilots, and it is still built the same way: a fine wire frame, a double bridge and very little weight to it.
Arista gold, the bright warm gold the Aviator is best known in, runs through the rims, the bridge and the temples, finished with clear temple tips and clear adjustable nose pads.
The lens has a light mirror finish over a gradient. From the front it reads silvery across the brow and warms to a soft peachy pink towards the bottom edge, while from the inside the tint sits deeper at the top and lighter below. They are not polarised.

About Ray-Ban
