O Te Rā is a New Zealand fragrance and art house pairing French perfumery with te ao Māori. Founded by three friends who met playing rugby in the United Kingdom, the fragrances are composed in Grasse by Gregory Sebastien and hand poured in New Zealand, with visual work by ta moko and contemporary artist Maia Gibbs and story by James Penman. The four extrait de parfums follow the sun through a single day, from Te Whitinga o te Rā at sunrise to Te Pō at night, each named in te reo for the phase it carries.
