Description
The Sutro Lite is the semi-rimless version of the Sutro. One oversized lens runs across both eyes under a flat brow, the lower edge is left open with no rim beneath it, and a cutout at the nose takes the place of a bridge.
The lens in these photos is Prizm Transitions Pyrite in its light state, a pale rose with a soft gold sheen across the front. It is a photochromic lens, so it darkens when UV hits it and clears again out of the sun, and Prizm keeps the contrast up throughout. One lens covers everything from early light and overcast to full sun, which suits a long ride or run where the light keeps changing.
This is the matte black colourway, flat black throughout with a gold Oakley icon on a ribbed black plate at each hinge and a gold bracket at the centre of the brow. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the arms are cut with angular facets along their length. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
