Description
The Large Metal is the Aviator at full size, the shape Ray-Ban drew in 1937 and has kept in the line ever since.
The frame is black from the double bridge through the thin wire temples to the tips, with clear adjustable nose pads.
The lenses are a blue flash mirror that shifts to violet at the outer edge and warms to gold along the bottom. Behind the mirror sits a brown gradient, dark across the top and lighter towards the lower edge, so the view from inside is warm rather than blue. They are not polarised.
