Description
Oakley introduced the Holbrook in 2011 and it has held its place in the range ever since: a square mid-century silhouette with a keyhole bridge and small metal rivets at the front corners. This is the XL, marked as such beside the bridge, so the same shape comes through wider at 59mm.
Woodgrain is a printed finish over the O Matter frame rather than timber, a driftwood grey run through with darker grain that carries across the front and down both temples. Silver rivets and a silver Oakley ellipse on each temple keep it from reading as a novelty.
The Prizm Black Polarised lens is very dark, with a silver mirror on the outside and a neutral grey tint looking out. Prizm is Oakley's contrast-tuning lens technology, and the polarised filter cuts glare off road, water and glass.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
