Description
The Holbrook is Oakley's square frame, built on a flat brow, a keyhole bridge and straight temples that run to the ear without a curve. This is the plainest version of it in the range, and the one most people end up in.
Matte black with polarised Prizm Black lenses, the darkest tint Oakley makes in Prizm and the one for bright open light. The polarising filter takes out the flat glare coming off water, road and bonnet, and Prizm works underneath it on contrast, so detail holds rather than washing out. Gunmetal rivets and a gunmetal Oakley icon are the only relief on the frame.
It runs in three lens widths, 55mm, 59mm and 61mm, so there is a wider fit available if the standard 55 sits narrow across the face.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
