Description
Oakley introduced the Holbrook in 2011 and it has been a fixture in the range ever since: a square front on a flat brow, a keyhole bridge, and small metal rivets at the corners.
Matte black is the flat, unshiny version of the frame. The Oakley icon set into each temple is picked out in blue to match the lens, and the rivets stay dark, so the whole thing is quiet apart from what is happening in the lens.
Lenses are polarised Prizm Deep Water, Oakley's open water lens, a pale ice blue mirror tuned to read through surface reflection rather than sit on top of it. The polarising filter takes the glare off the water, and Prizm works underneath it on contrast.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
