Description
Oakley introduced the Holbrook in 2011 and it has been a fixture in the range ever since: a square mid-century silhouette with a keyhole bridge and small metal rivets at the front corners, carrying Oakley's lens engineering behind a shape you can wear anywhere.
The woodgrain finish runs the full length of the front and the temples, a pale grey-brown grain print rather than a flat colour, warmer and more textured than the standard black. This is the bigger cut of the Holbrook, the 59 marked XL on the inner bridge, with a 61 also available.
Lenses are polarised Prizm Tungsten, a warm bronze with a soft mirror over it, the option that keeps things looking warm rather than cooling everything down the way a grey lens does.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
