Description
The Holbrook is Oakley's square frame, built on a flat brow, a keyhole bridge and straight temples that run to the ear without a curve.
Matte Clear is a frosted translucent front, closer to milky white than see-through, and the temples fade out of it into a soft yellow toward the tips. Copper rivets at the end pieces and a copper Oakley icon on the temples sit warm against it.
The lenses are polarised Prizm Black, the darkest tint in the Prizm range and the one for bright open light. The polarising filter cuts the flat glare coming off water, road and bonnet, and Prizm works underneath it on contrast, so detail holds rather than washing out.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
