Description
The Holbrook is one of Oakley's best known frames, a clean squared shape with a flat brow, straight sides and metal Oakley icons set into the temples.
This is Grey Smoke. The front is a translucent smoky grey under a gloss finish, so light carries through it rather than stopping at the surface, and the icon rivets at the corners are picked out in blue to bring the lens colour forward. The lenses are Prizm Sapphire, a bright blue mirror that turns violet at the edges, and they are polarised, so the flat glare off water, wet road and windscreens drops away while Prizm keeps working underneath on contrast.
The frame is O Matter and the front is marked XL, so at 59mm across the lens this sits at the wider end of the Holbrook range.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
