Description
The Round Metal is Ray-Ban's thin wire round: a fine rim, a brow bar arched over the bridge, adjustable nose pads, and very little else competing with the lens.
This one splits the front across two finishes. The rims are wrapped in a havana that runs red rather than brown, a reddish tortoise shot through with amber, while the brow bar, bridge and temples stay matt silver with a fine milled texture worked along them. Tortoise temple tips pick the warmth back up at the ends.
The lenses are a flat dark grey with no mirror on them, so the colour stays where it is on the frame. It comes in 50mm and 53mm, so the round can sit close to the face or run a little more open.
