Description
The Round Metal is Ray-Ban's thin wire round frame: a fine metal rim, a brow bar across the top, adjustable nose pads, and almost nothing else to it beyond the lens.
Gold with a flat black lens, polarised. Black is the most opaque tint in the Round Metal range, so from the outside it gives very little away, and the polarising filter takes glare off water, road and glass rather than just dimming it.
It comes in three lens widths, 47mm, 50mm and 53mm, so the same frame can sit close and neat or noticeably rounder on the face. Metal throughout, with the wire temples and pad arms that go with it.
