Description
The Round Metal is Ray-Ban's thin wire round frame: a fine metal rim, a brow bar across the top, adjustable nose pads, and almost nothing else to it beyond the lens.
This one runs two finishes across the front. The eye rims are wrapped in a matt havana tortoise, while the bridge, brow bar and temples stay matt Arista gold, so the tortoise sits as a line around each lens rather than across the whole frame.
Brown lenses and tortoise temple tips carry the warmth through, and the matt finish keeps the gold from reading as shiny. It comes in 50mm and 53mm, which on a round frame is the difference between neat and generous.
