Description
The New Wayfarer is the 1952 Wayfarer with the edges taken off. The front is a touch smaller, the corners are rounder and the forward tilt is gentler, so it keeps the shape everyone recognises while sitting more easily day to day.
This is the Havana colourway, a dark brown tortoise with amber patches running through the front and down both arms, in a soft, low-sheen finish with silver rivets at the corners. The lenses are Green Gradient Blue, a green tint that sits darkest across the brow and eases lighter towards the bottom edge. They are polarised, so the glare coming off water, wet roads and windscreens is cut rather than just dimmed.
The frame is injected nylon, made in Italy, and the Ray-Ban script on the lens carries a small P, the mark of a polarised Ray-Ban lens. This is the 55mm lens width.
