Description
The New Wayfarer is Ray-Ban's softer take on the 1952 Wayfarer. The front is a little smaller, the corners are rounder and the forward tilt is gentler, so the shape everyone knows sits more easily day to day.
This is the Havana colourway in a matte finish: dark brown tortoise broken up by amber and honey patches across the front and down both arms, with silver rivets at the corners. The lenses are an even dark grey with no gradient, the neutral tint that takes the brightness down without shifting colours. They are not polarised.
The frame is nylon, made in Italy, and the inside of the arm reads RB 2132 NEW WAYFARER 865/B1 52 18 145 3N, so the fit figures below come off the pair itself. The 3N marks a category 3 tint, a lens for full sun.
