Description
The Radar EV Heater belongs to Oakley's Radar EV family, where EV stands for extended view: the lens runs taller than the original Radar's, so there is more lens and less frame at the top of your vision when your head is down. It is a one-piece shield held in a half rim, with the lower edge left open and a notch cut into the lens at each end where it meets the frame.
This is Matte Carbon with a Prizm Field lens. The frame is a flat charcoal grey with a gold-toned Oakley icon at each hinge and a black nose pad, and the lens is crimson through the middle running to orange at the outer corners, rose from behind. Prizm Field is tuned for field sports, sharpening contrast against sky and grass in bright light.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, with open vents through the temples just behind the hinge. This colourway is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
