Description
The Radar EV Heater belongs to Oakley's Radar EV family, where EV stands for extended view: the lens runs taller than the original Radar's, so there is more lens and less frame at the top of your vision when your head is down. It is a one-piece shield held in a half rim, with the lower edge left open and a notch cut into the lens at each end where it meets the frame.
This is Matte Black with a polarised Prizm Black lens. Frame, temples and nose pad are all flat black, with a silver Oakley icon at each hinge and open vents through the temples just behind it. The lens is a dark grey tint for bright sun, with polarisation cutting reflected glare off water, wet roads and windscreens while Prizm tunes the contrast.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and "Prizm P" on the lower corner of the lens marks it as the polarised version.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
