Description
The Radar EV Heater belongs to Oakley's Radar EV family, where EV stands for extended view: the lens runs taller than the original Radar's, so there is more lens and less frame at the top of your vision when your head is down. It is a one-piece shield held in a half rim, with the lower edge left open and a notch cut into the lens at each end where it meets the frame.
This is Polished White with a Prizm Snow Sapphire lens. The frame and earsocks are all white with a blue Oakley icon at each hinge and a black nose pad, and the lens runs from rose at the top to a pale blue mirror toward the lower edge, deep rose from behind. Prizm Snow Sapphire comes from Oakley's snow lens range, tuned to hold detail in the surface in front of you in bright, high-glare light.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, with open vents through the temples just behind the hinge. This colourway is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
