Description
The Radar EV Heater belongs to Oakley's Radar EV family, where EV stands for extended view: the lens runs taller than the original Radar's, so there is more lens and less frame at the top of your vision when your head is down. It is a one-piece shield held in a half rim, with the lower edge left open and a notch cut into the lens at each end where it meets the frame.
This is Matte Black with a Prizm Road lens. The frame is flat black with a red Oakley icon at each hinge, and the lens is a violet mirror through the middle running to red and yellow at the outer edges, reading rose from behind. Prizm Road is tuned for road riding, so changes in the surface ahead stay readable out of the glare.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, with open vents through the temples just behind the hinge. This colourway is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
