Holbrook Sunglasses - Blue Steel/Prizm Bronze Polarized

The Holbrook is Oakley's squared-off everyday frame: a flat brow, a keyhole bridge and metal rivets at the front corners. This is the XL, printed as such on the inside of the front beside the bridge, so the same shape comes through wider, with a 59mm lens.

Blue Steel is a dark blue-grey with a fine metallic fleck through it, reading as slate from across the room and showing its blue up close. Copper-toned rivets and a matching Oakley ellipse on each arm pick up the lens colour, and the arms turn to a translucent pale grey printed with fine diagonal stripes.

The lenses are Prizm Bronze, a warm brown you see straight through rather than a mirror, tuned to lift contrast instead of simply darkening the view. They are polarised, so the flat glare off water, wet roads and car glass drops away. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material.
