Description
The Wayfarer arrived in 1952, and the RB2140 is cut to the original proportions: the canted browline, the sharp outer corners, the wide temples that taper to a point.
Transparent Light Brown takes the weight out of the shape. The acetate is a see-through light brown with a soft taupe cast, clear enough that the hinges show through at the corners, with silver rivets on the front and a silver Ray-Ban logo on the arm. The lenses are Crystal Green, a deep bottle green that sits dark against the pale frame, and they are not polarised. It comes in two widths, the 50 and the 52.
