Description
The Wayfarer arrived in 1952, and the RB2140 is the version that kept the original proportions: the canted browline, the sharp outer corners, the wide temples that taper to a point.
This is Havana, a gloss tortoise in deep brown broken up with amber and honey flecks, finished with silver rivets at each hinge. The lenses are a solid green, dark enough for full sun, and they are not polarised.
The inside of the arm reads RB 2140 1359/31 50 22 150 3N, then Bio-Acetate Frame, so the fit figures below come off the pair itself and the 3N confirms a category 3 tint with no polarising filter.
