Description
The Turbine is Oakley's bigger, squarer wrap: a thick-rimmed frame with a curve through the front and long tapered temples, cut to hold its position rather than to sit quietly.
This is the polished black colourway, a full gloss front with the Oakley icon on the temple left in plain silver. Prizm Black is the darkest lens in the range, a deep grey with a low silver sheen across it rather than a bright mirror, so the frame stays the loud part and the lens does not.
Prizm is Oakley's contrast-tuning lens technology, so colour separation holds rather than flattening out, and the polarisation takes the glare off water, road and glass. It is built for open, hard light.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
