Description
The Sylas is Oakley's wide flat browed square, cut with a long lens that sweeps back towards the hinge rather than stopping square at it. There are no rivets on the front, so the only break in the line is the Oakley icon on the temple.
Polished Clear is the transparent build. The frame is clear right through the front and the temples under a gloss finish, so you can see the internal structure and the hinge sitting inside the plastic, and the chrome icon is the only solid colour on it. The lens is Prizm Black, the darkest of the Prizm tints, which keeps the contrast working in hard light and reads almost solid from the outside against a frame you can see through.
The frame is O Matter. These are not polarised, so Prizm is working on contrast alone, and the lens measures 57mm across.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
