Description
The Sylas is Oakley's wide flat browed square, cut with a long lens that sweeps back towards the hinge rather than stopping square at it. There are no rivets on the front, so the only break in the line is the Oakley icon on the temple.
Matte Clear takes the transparent frame and drops the gloss, so the front reads as frosted rather than glassy and the icon sits dark against it. Prizm Slate is a light tint rather than a mirror, pale enough to see the eye through, which keeps the whole pair looking washed out and low key instead of blacked off.
The frame is O Matter. These are not polarised, so Prizm is working on contrast alone, and the lens measures 60mm across, which is the wider of the two Sylas fits.

About Oakley
