Description
The Sylas is Oakley's wide flat browed square, cut with a long lens that sweeps back towards the hinge rather than stopping square at it. There are no rivets on the front, so the only break in the line is the Oakley icon on the temple.
This is the plain polished black: gloss across the front and the temples, with the icon picked out in chrome. The lens is Prizm Grey, a neutral grey with the faintest warm cast, tinted rather than mirrored, so the brightness comes down while the Prizm tuning lifts contrast underneath it.
The frame is O Matter. These are not polarised, so Prizm is working on contrast alone, and the lens measures 57mm across.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
