Description
The Sylas is Oakley's wide square with a flat brow, the lens cut long so it carries on back towards the hinge instead of stopping square at it. There are no rivets on the front, so nothing interrupts the line across the top.
Olive Ink is a translucent olive green under a gloss finish. It reads close to black indoors and turns clearly green once the light is behind it, and the same olive runs the full length of the temples with a tonal Oakley icon rather than a chrome one. The lens is Prizm Tungsten, a warm copper brown you can still see through rather than a hard mirror.
The frame is O Matter. There is no polarising filter on this one, so the Prizm tuning is working on contrast rather than glare, and the lens measures 60mm across, the wider of the two Sylas fits.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
