Description
The Sutro Lite Sweep pairs Oakley's Sutro frame with the sweep lens shape first made popular by the Eyeshade. One oversized lens runs across both eyes under a flat brow, the lower edge is left open with no rim beneath it, and a cutout at the nose takes the place of a bridge. At each side the lens carries on past the end of the brow and sweeps back, so there is more lens at the edge of your view.
Brass Tax is a metallic olive brass across the brow that warms into translucent gold through the arms, with a black OAKLEY wordmark on a gold plate at each side and black inner tips. Prizm 24K is a bright gold mirror over a warm brown base tint, so the lens and frame read as one tonal piece.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the arms are cut with angular facets along their length. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
