Description
The Sutro Lite Sweep pairs Oakley's Sutro frame with the sweep lens shape first made popular by the Eyeshade. One oversized lens runs across both eyes under a flat brow, the lower edge is left open with no rim beneath it, and a cutout at the nose takes the place of a bridge. At each side the lens carries on past the end of the brow and sweeps back, so there is more lens at the edge of your view.
This is the matte black colourway, flat black throughout with a white Oakley icon on a ribbed black plate at each hinge. Prizm Road is a violet mirror through the middle running to red and yellow at the outer edges, reading rose from behind. It is tuned for road riding, so changes in the surface ahead stay readable out of the glare.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the arms are cut with angular facets along their length. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
