Description
The Sutro Lite Sweep pairs Oakley's Sutro frame with the sweep lens shape first made popular by the Eyeshade. One oversized lens runs across both eyes under a flat brow, the lower edge is left open with no rim beneath it, and a cutout at the nose takes the place of a bridge. At each side the lens carries on past the end of the brow and sweeps back, so there is more lens at the edge of your view.
This is matte black with a Prizm Grey lens, flat black throughout with a dark Oakley icon on a ribbed silver plate at each hinge. Prizm Grey is a smoky mid grey with a faint cool cast and no mirror to it, and Prizm tunes the contrast rather than just dimming the light.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the arms are cut with angular facets along their length. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
