Description

The Radar EV Path is the tall-lens Radar, a one-piece shield carried in a half-rim frame. EV stands for extended view, meaning the lens runs higher than the original so the top of your vision stays glass.

This is polished black with polarised Prizm 24K lenses, a gold mirror sitting over a polarising filter. The gold against a gloss black frame is the dressiest version of a frame that started out as pure sports equipment, and the polarisation makes it the one to take near water or a windscreen.

The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, open along the bottom edge of the lens.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
