Description

The Radar EV Path is the tall-lens Radar. EV stands for extended view, meaning the shield runs higher than the original so there is more to see when your head is down and less frame in the way.

This one pairs a polished white frame with Prizm Jade lenses, a green mirror that shifts violet where the light catches it. The white and green is a road-and-track combination first, but it has aged into something people wear well away from either.

The lens is a single piece in a half-rim O Matter frame, and Prizm is doing contrast work rather than simply cutting brightness.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions. Worn at the highest level of sport and collected well beyond it.
