Description
The Lateralis is a high wrap sport frame with wide, deep-set lenses in a full rim, a keyhole bridge and small round rivets at the outer corners of the front. Behind the hinge each arm steps down in a sharp kink, and the rear half is cut with geometric windows over a black inner section that runs to the tips.
Matt Transparent Abyss is a frosted, see-through deep slate blue, finished with gold rivets and a gold Oakley icon on each arm. Prizm 24K is a bright gold mirror over a warm brown base tint, and against the cool blue frame it is the piece that catches the eye.
They are polarised, so glare coming off water, road and glass is cut rather than just dimmed. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the lens measures 60mm across.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
