Description
The Lateralis is a sport frame with a high wrap, wide deep-set lenses in a full rim and a keyhole bridge, finished with small round rivets at the outer corners of the front. Each arm kicks down in a sharp step behind the hinge, then runs back with geometric windows cut through the rear half over a black inner section.
Matte Clear is a frosted, see-through frame, so the black inside the arms shows through as a graphic detail. Prizm Sapphire is a bright blue mirror, and against the clear frame it carries all the colour.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the lens measures 60mm across. These are not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
