Description
The Gibston is Oakley's wrapped rectangle. The brow runs straight across the front and the lens curves back towards the hinge, so it sits closer to the face than a flat frame does, and the temples are broad and square with the Oakley icon set into the side.
This is the Matte Black colourway, solid and flat right through the front and the arms, with the icon in chrome. That leaves the lens to carry the colour: Prizm Sapphire is a bright blue mirror that shifts to violet along the inner edge.
This is the polarised build of Prizm Sapphire, so the flat glare off water, wet road and windscreens is filtered out while the Prizm tuning holds contrast underneath. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium.
