Description
The RB2229 is a one-piece shield. A single lens runs the full width of the front under a flat brow bar, with the nose bridge sitting behind it rather than splitting the view in two.
This is the Grey colourway, a frosted translucent grey that carries right through the brow and the broad flat temples, set against Bronze Urban lenses. The tint is a warm amber brown with no mirror on it, so the frame reads soft and the lens reads warm.
The lenses are polarised, which cuts the glare that bounces off water, road and glass rather than just dimming everything, and they are a contrast enhancing tint, so edges and detail stay legible in hard light. They block 100% of UV. The frame is propionate, a light plastic that takes the frosted finish cleanly.
