Description
The New Wayfarer is Ray-Ban's softened reworking of the 1952 original. The front is a little smaller and the corners are rounder, so it keeps the shape everyone recognises while sitting more easily day to day.
This is the fully transparent version, water clear through the front and the arms, so the silver rivets and hinges show straight through the plastic. The lens is a clear grey, a soft mid grey across the brow that fades to almost clear along the bottom edge, which keeps the whole pair looking light and open rather than dark.
It is not polarised. The frame is nylon with the keyhole bridge carried over from the original, and it comes in one lens width, 55mm.
