Description
The Mega Wayfarer takes the 1952 Wayfarer shape and builds it up. The rims are thicker, the front is deeper, the browline carries a heavier bevel. The angles are the same ones Ray-Ban has been cutting for seventy years, the presence is not.
This is the Transparent Dark Blue colourway, a see-through deep navy that runs through the front, the temples and the tips, with silver rivets set at each corner. The Clear Gradient Grey lens shades from smoke at the brow to almost clear along the bottom edge, so the eyes stay visible through it rather than disappearing behind a flat dark tint.
The inside of the bridge is stamped RB 0840S 6845/32 51 21 145 2N, so the fit figures below come off the frame itself. A category 2 tint, not polarised.
