Description
The Erika is one of the softer Ray-Ban shapes, a rounded nylon front on slim wire temples rather than the squared-off classics. It sits light on the face and works as an everyday pair rather than a statement one.
This is the light havana front, warm tortoise with the grain running through it, on a flat brown polarised lens. The tint is even top to bottom rather than graduated, so it holds its density right across the lens.
Polarised is the part worth paying for here. It kills the flat glare that comes off water, wet roads and car bonnets, which is the glare that makes you squint even when the sun is not especially strong.
