Description
The Chris is the squarer end of the Ray-Ban range, a flat brow and softly squared lenses set on a keyhole bridge, carried on slim metal temples rather than thick plastic arms. That combination is what keeps a frame this wide from feeling heavy.
Transparent Brown is the warmest colourway of the four, a clear brown front with a rosy cast to it, matched to brown lenses and gold-toned temples. Clear plastic sits closer to the skin than a solid frame does, so it softens the squared shape rather than framing it hard.
The lenses are polarised, which takes out the flat glare that bounces off water, wet roads and car bonnets rather than simply darkening everything.
