Description
The Brunel is a broad, flat-topped rectangle in propionate, squared off at the corners and kept low through the brow so it covers properly without widening the face. Slim silver metal darts sit at each end piece, the one piece of hardware on an otherwise plain front.
This is the all black colourway. The frame is gloss rather than matte, so the front and the temples carry a shine, and the lens behind it is a solid black with nothing to break it up, no gradient and no mirror from either side.
The lens is polarised, so glare coming off water, road and windscreens drops out rather than only getting dimmer. It comes in two lens widths, 53mm and 56mm, so the same frame reads as either a moderate rectangle or a genuinely wide one.
