Description

The Aviator Puffer comes out of the Ray-Ban x A$AP Rocky collection and does what the name suggests: it takes the teardrop Aviator outline and inflates it. The frame is thick and rounded the whole way round, with small gold rivets set at the hinges.

This is the transparent dark blue colourway, a deep navy front run with Ultra Black lenses. Nylon keeps a frame this size light enough to forget about.

Two lens widths, 50mm and 52mm.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
