Description

The Aviator Puffer takes Ray-Ban's most famous silhouette and inflates it. The teardrop lens shape is unmistakably Aviator, but the frame is rendered thick and sculptural in glossy black nylon.

This colourway pairs the black frame with ultra black lenses for a tonal, all-black look. The oversized construction is surprisingly light on the face thanks to the nylon build and bio-based lenses.

A statement frame from the new wave of Ray-Ban design.

About Ray-Ban
Ray-Ban began in 1937 with a commission from the US Army Air Corps: build a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The result became the Aviator, and the Wayfarer followed in 1952, two of the most recognised and most copied designs in eyewear history. Nearly a century on, the icons remain in production largely unchanged while a new generation of designs, from bio-based frames to the sculptural Puffer series, keeps the catalogue moving. Few brands span military kit, film wardrobes and everyday essentials in the same breath.
