Description
The Large Metal is the full-size Aviator, the 1937 teardrop Ray-Ban has never stopped making.
The frame is a soft matte silver rather than a polished one, so it stays quiet against the lens, with black temple tips and clear adjustable nose pads.
The lenses are a full silver mirror. From the outside they read as a flat sheet of chrome with nothing showing through, and they are polarised underneath, so glare off water, road and bonnet is filtered out rather than only dimmed.
