Description
The Turbine is Oakley's bigger, squarer wrap: a thick-rimmed frame with a curve through the front and long tapered temples, cut to hold its position rather than to sit quietly.
Black ink is a gloss black front, and the only colour on the frame is a navy panel set into each temple behind the silver Oakley icon. Prizm Sapphire does the rest, a bright blue mirror that turns violet towards the outer edge of the lens.
Prizm is Oakley's contrast-tuning lens technology, so colour separation holds rather than flattening out. The frame is O Matter.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
