Description
The Sutro Lite is the semi-rimless version of the Sutro. One oversized lens runs across both eyes under a flat brow, the lower edge is left open with no rim beneath it, and a cutout at the nose takes the place of a bridge.
This is matte white, with black on the inside of the arm tips, a black nose piece, a white Oakley icon on a ribbed red plate at each hinge and a silver-toned centre bracket seen from behind. Prizm Ruby is a red mirror through the middle that runs to orange and yellow at the outer edges, reading a warm bronze from behind.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material, and the arms are cut with angular facets along their length. The lens is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
