Description
The Radar EV Heater belongs to Oakley's Radar EV family, where EV stands for extended view: the lens runs taller than the original Radar's, so there is more lens and less frame at the top of your vision when your head is down. It is a one-piece shield held in a half rim, with the lower edge left open and a notch cut into the lens at each end where it meets the frame.
This is Polished Black with a Prizm Black lens. The frame is gloss black with a silver Oakley icon at each hinge, and the lens is a dark grey tint made for bright sun, with Prizm tuning the contrast rather than just dimming the light.
The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight frame material. This colourway is not polarised.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear.
