Description
The Portal Jacket is a rounded oval wrap, carrying the Jacket name Oakley has used since the Eye Jacket arrived in 1994. Full rim, two lenses, and moulded temples with the Oakley ellipse cut into them at the hinge.
Matte Clear is a frosted, near-invisible front, which leaves the Prizm Sapphire lenses to do all the talking. They mirror bright blue over cyan and are the loudest part of the pair by a distance.
Prizm is Oakley's contrast-tuned lens technology. The frame is O Matter, Oakley's own lightweight and flexible frame material.

About Oakley
Oakley started in 1975 in Jim Jannard's California garage, selling motocross grips made from a material he invented and named Unobtanium. Grips became goggles, goggles became sunglasses, and by the 1990s designs like the Eye Jacket and M Frame had rewritten performance eyewear. The obsessions have never changed: material science and optics, from O Matter frames to Prizm lenses tuned to sharpen contrast in specific conditions.
