Portal Jacket Sunglasses - Polished Black/Prizm Black Polarized

The Portal Jacket is a tightly wrapped oval that sits in the Jacket line Oakley has been building since the Eye Jacket landed in 1994. The rim runs unbroken around each lens and tapers to a point at the hinge, so the frame reads as one continuous curve rather than a front with arms attached to it.

This is the Polished Black colourway, a high gloss finish across the front and temples with the Oakley ellipse inlaid on each arm in a pale sage. That inlay is the only break in the black. The Prizm Black Polarized lens is a deep charcoal with a low sheen rather than a bright mirror, so it stays flat and dark from the outside while the polarising filter takes the glare off water and road.

At 61mm across the lens this is a wide frame cut to sit close to the face, and the inside of the bridge is stamped 61 19 113, so the bridge and temple figures below come off the frame itself.
