Description
The Gibston is Oakley's rectangular wrap. The brow runs dead straight across the front and the lens curves right around to the hinge, so it sits closer to the face than a flat frame does, and the temples are thick and square with the Oakley icon set into the side.
This one is matte black front to back with the icon in chrome, which is the version that disappears on. Prizm Black is the darkest of the Prizm tints and carries a light mirror, so from the outside the lens reads almost solid while the tuning keeps contrast working behind it in hard light.
The frame is O Matter. These are not polarised, so Prizm is working on contrast alone, and the front is marked 61mm across the lens.

About Oakley
